JOHN CROISANT ANNOUNCES RE-ELECTION FOR TPS DISTRICT 5

Coach, Former Teacher, and Businessman Continues to Fight for Tulsa Families

TULSA, OK – Tulsa coach, former teacher, local insurance agent, community volunteer, and parent, John Croisant, seeks re-election to Tulsa Public Schools Board District 5. Croisant was first elected to the board in 2020.

A graduate of the University of Tulsa, with degrees in secondary education and political science, he has 16 years teaching experience and 20 years coaching experience in both public and private schools. Most recently, Croisant taught for 12 years at Thomas Edison Preparatory Middle and High School. He currently is a soccer coach for Tulsa-area students and operates an Allstate insurance agency in midtown.

Croisant is dedicated to continuing to represent the families in District 5 with honesty, integrity, and open lines of communication. His goals remain steadfast in an effort to continue to improve the education that each student receives in Tulsa Public Schools. This includes providing teachers and administrators the ability to teach with passion and creativity, while also looking at ways to expand opportunities for students to find courses that fulfill their own passions.

Croisant continues to support local control of public schools and emphasizes that “Oklahoma’s public education is at the center of my platform because having a quality educational system is the cornerstone for economic development and quality of life in our communities,” Croisant said. “I’m not a politician. I’m a teacher, coach, and parent first and foremost. However, extremist, partisan politicians are making blatantly false statements about Tulsa Public Schools and trying to usurp the will of the public school families and residents in Tulsa. I am here to say that I will not tolerate this kind of rhetoric.”
